Recruiting Position

Position 1: English Reading & Writing Teacher 

  • You must be familiar with Victorian Curriculum (Subject: English).

  • You must be engaging and passionate about helping students in building up solid English reading and writing skills, developing excellent habits of mind, improving learning skills and achieving the best possible potential.

  • Have excellent organisation and communication skills.

  • You must be reliable, able to work without supervision, punctual and have excellent personal presentation.

  • At least two year teaching experience to primary school age children, teaching qualification is preferred.

 

The role involves:

  • Planning for classes (Textbooks are provided)

  • Assigning and marking homework.

  • Teaching in small groups or 1 on 1.

  • Giving feedback report on students’ lessons and progress.

Position 2: English Phonics Teacher

  • You must be familiar with English phonics rules. 

  • You must have at least 2 years experience teaching phonics.

  • You must be engaging and passionate about helping students in building up solid English reading and writing skills, developing excellent habits of mind, improving learning skills and achieving the best possible potential.

  • Have excellent organisation and communication skills.

  • You must be reliable, able to work without supervision, punctual and have excellent personal presentation.

 

The role involves:

  • Planning for classes (Textbooks are provided)

  • Assigning and marking homework.

  • Teaching in small groups or 1 on 1.

  • Giving feedback report on students’ lessons and progress.

Position 2: English Teaching Assistant

  • English native speaker

  • Able to commit at least one full day of the weekend.

  • Enjoys working with children from 5 years - 12 years.

  • Looking for experience in the classroom in a practical setting

  • Looking to build confidence in presenting and teaching to a group

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • You must be reliable, able to work without supervision, punctual and have excellent personal presentation.

 

The role involves:

  • Assist students on an individual or group basis in English learning.

  • Provide basic physical and emotional care for students.

  • Assist in the preparation of student resources and equipment.

  • Prepare basic curriculum support resources.

  • Set up and put away equipment and materials in support of teaching programs.

  • Observe students and draw the attention of the teacher to them where necessary.

  • Participate in the monitoring and evaluation of programs and evaluation of individual student involvement and achievement.
